1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using this auction platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

2. Registration

To place bids, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Bidding

All bids are legally binding. By placing a bid, you agree to purchase the item at the bid price plus any applicable buyer's premium if you are the winning bidder. Bids cannot be retracted once placed.

The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid, withdraw any lot, or cancel any auction at their discretion.

4. Buyer's Premium

A buyer's premium may be added to the hammer price. The applicable percentage is displayed on each auction listing.

5. Payment

Payment is due within the timeframe specified by the auctioneer. Failure to pay may result in account suspension and legal action.

6. Collection and Delivery

Items must be collected within the timeframe specified. The buyer is responsible for all collection and delivery costs unless otherwise stated.

7. Condition of Items

Items are sold voetstoots (as is). While descriptions are provided in good faith, bidders are encouraged to inspect items before bidding. The auctioneer makes no warranties regarding condition, authenticity, or fitness for purpose.

8. Anti-Snipe Protection

Timed auctions may include anti-snipe protection. If a bid is placed within the final minutes of closing, the lot closing time may be extended to allow other bidders to respond.

9. Proxy Bidding

The platform supports automatic proxy bidding. When you set a maximum bid, the system will bid on your behalf up to your maximum amount using the minimum increment necessary to maintain the leading position.

10. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from the use of this platform or participation in any auction.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
